Lisa qualified as a chartered physiotherapist with first class honors in 1998 and completed a Masters Degree in Manipulation in 2003. Since graduation, she worked for 16 years in the NHS becoming a Clinical Specialist for musculoskeletal pain in 2006 before specialising further in 2009 to become the lead clinician for Spinal Services for the department of Neurosurgery at Newcastle’s RVI. She maintains close links with the spinal surgical teams both at RVI and at local NHS Trusts. Lisa completed her post graduate diploma in Injection Therapy in 2006 and continues to provide joint injections in clinic.

In addition to her NHS achievements, she has also maintained a private caseload and provided services to local sports teams including rugby, Newcastle Eagles basketball Team , Newcastle Vipers Ice Hockey Team and even the odd ‘A-List’ celebrity at Newcastle Arena!

During her career to date, Lisa has enjoyed lecturing nationally and speaking at the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy Conference. She continues to work as an expert witness in cases involving musculoskeletal physiotherapy and is a member of the MLACP. This role requires that she keeps updated with the latest physiotherapy research.

Since entering the private sector, Lisa has trained in the field of occupational health and provides on-site physiotherapy for local, national and global companies helping to manage sickness/absence and keep employees fit for work.

Lisa is passionate about the North East and is excited about bringing her skills back to her hometown of Whitley bay to deliver the service she has always dreamed of providing!
