Tracey qualified in 1997 at Teeside University with a BSC hons degree in physiotherapy. She initially began her career at Sunderland Royal hospital then took up a specialist musculoskeletal post at Hexham, moving to Northumbria in a senior role assessing and treating complex musculoskeletal conditions. Tracey qualified as an acupuncturist in 2003 and is a member of the association of chartered physiotherapists in acupuncture. Tracey uses acupuncture to treat a wide range of conditions from neck pain, soft tissue and muscle pain, trigger points and headaches.
She has a wealth of experience in acute and chronic soft tissue and joint problems, back pain and sciatica, neck pain, osteoarthritis muscle imbalance, sports injuries and post operative rehabilitation.
She is passionate about self development and attends regular courses to continually improve her treatment and assessment techniques.
Tracey is also a member of the Australian pilates physio institute and is an accredited instructor. She is also an accredited kinesio UK taping therapist.
When she’s not working you can find her looking after her horses, dog and hens at home. She enjoys running, and loves walking in the hills. She has a special interest in running injuries and rehab, core strengthening, back pain and acupuncture.
