Emma Jardine is a Specialist Physiotherapist who graduated from Northumbria University with a first-class honours degree in Physiotherapy in 2003, and since 2006 has specialised in Women’s and Men’s Health both in the NHS and in private practice.
Emma has a special interest in the menopause, particularly the management of hot flushes and night sweats, and has been successfully practicing acupuncture for management of these symptoms since 2011.
Emma is passionate about embedding evidence-based practice into her clinical, completing her Masters degree and publishing her research on the management of hot flushes and night sweats amongst breast cancer patients.
Ambitious to ensure that ear acupuncture is available to all who experience hot flushes and night sweats, Emma founded AcuFlash in 2018 with her Occupational Health Physiotherapy colleague Melissa Corbo.
Through AcuFlash, Emma and Mel provide an evidence-based service hosted by the Whitley Bay Clinic, aspiring the bring those who experience hot flushes and night sweats together. They have great success in treating clients who are struggling with hot flushes and night sweats due to natural menopausal changes, cancer treatment, thyroid dysfunction and other hormonal imbalances.
Group sessions allow invaluable support whilst you receive the very effective NADA ear acupuncture treatment protocol, which can significantly reduce and even eliminate your symptoms.
Both Emma and Mel are members of the Health Care & Professions Council, the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, the Pelvic, Obstetric and Gynaecological Clinical Interest Group and the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists.
AcuFlash treatment costs £35 per session, with each session lasting 40 minutes. A full course of acupuncture consisting of 8 sessions within 10 weeks. You are welcome to pay for sessions as you attend, or pay for your course of treatment upfront at a reduced rate of £245, which means you receive your last treatment session for free. One to one treatment sessions are £45 each.
